EyeCandy's Plugin/Gradient Glow
A  tube,  and font of choice.My Mask HERE
I have used images from artist Joel Adams. Check out the Gild
to receive your own license to work with these images.

Ulead Gif Animator Download Trial HERE
File new, 400x 400 transparent image.
Open in psp the tube you will be using.
Flood fill our new image using a color from your tube.
Layer Load/Save mask, load mask from disk with these settings

Layer delete , click yes to the popup.
Layer, merge, merge group.
Effects, 3d effects, plugins, eye candy 4000, gradient glow with these settings.


File save as "back" and as psd file. Save to your desktop for easy reference.

Open up gif animator.
Click "close"
File open image, find our "back" and click ok.
On the top toolbar click on "Video/FX"
Scroll down till you find Special/Wind with these settings.


You will now have 11 frames. Right click on frame 1 and select delete frame.

Back to psp and click on your tube.
Now make sure you tube has only 1 layer.
If you are like me and are using a Tony tube the credit layer has to be deleted first.
File save as "tube" again as psd file to your desktop.
Back to gif animator.
Click on frame 1.
File, add image. Find your "tube" that we just saved to our desktop. Click open.
Using these settings.

Now use your pick tool

Place your tube to where you would like.
Once you are happy with your placement, Edit copy.
Hold your ctrl key down on your keyboard. Click on frame 2.
Now let go of your ctrl key and hold the shift key on your keyboard down.
Now click on frame 9. Frames 2-9 will now be selected.
This can be tricky and may take a few times but you can do it!!
Once frames 2-9 are selected.
Dont worry if frame 1 remains selected it wont matter as we are just duplicating our tube into the frames.
The importance is that you have the frames selected otherwise the animation will blink..
Edit, Paste.
For a quick preview. Play animation.

Back to psp.
Create your text. You may want to copy and paste your tube to get a better idea of how your text will look. We will be adding just our text to gif animator in a moment.
Once you are happy with how your text will look. Edit, copy , edit paste as new image.
File, save as "text" as a psd file again to your desktop.
Again click on frame 1.
File, add image. Find your "text" and open.
Using your pick tool again, place your text where you would like.
Once you are happy with your placement, Edit copy.
Hold your ctrl key down on your keyboard. Click on frame 2.
Now let go of your ctrl key and hold the shift key on your keyboard down.
Now click on frame 9. Frames 2-9 will now be selected.

Once again back to psp. Add your watermark, your artists credits. Save to your desktop as psd file and add the same way we've done the tube and text.



You can see now how optimizing compresses to allow better downloads. I didn't muck with any settings. As i didnt' want to alter the tube image i used as we know optimizers are not friendly with great images.
Click the save button.
Name your file and you're done!
I hope you have enjoyed this tutorial.
I know that there are alot of ways you could have made your tag. You could of added/tube/text/watermark all at once. Applied different effects for the "wind" I try to write for the beginner as to why i work in steps. I do hope you have fun! Maybe this has opened a whole new creative adventure for you. The great thing? We didn't have to make sense of object manager did we? lol
